Monsters of Rock Tour Book Gatefold

Mötley opened the 1984 Monsters of Rock show at Castle Donington for an estimated 65,000 fans. The event was thought by many to be the best single-day festival ever witnessed. Post-show, Vince Neil explained, “Opening the show is the hardest part of all, but we went out there and hit them before they had a chance to breathe. We gave them 125 decibels at the speed of light.”
